Tailoring Crosslinked Polyether Networks for Separation of CO <sub>2</sub> from Light Gases

چکیده

Crosslinked poly(ethylene oxide) or glycol) (PEG) is an ideal membrane material for separation of CO2 from light gases (e.g., H2, N2, O2, CH4 etc). In these membranes, crosslinking used as a tool to suppress crystallinity the PEG segments. spite extensive effort develop crosslinked membranes in last two decades, it remains challenge establish structure–property relationships. This paper points out fundamental limitations correlate chain topology network with gas permeation mechanism. While quantitative comparison molecular weight between crosslinks networks and mechanism reported by different research groups challenging, made draw qualitative picture. this review, focus also put on progress utilization dangling fractions tailor behavior networks.
